The railway is open every Saturday and Sunday between the beginning of April until the end of September every year. Enjoy a ride on a train hauled by one of our very own steam locomotives.
The railway is also open every Bank Holiday and on Wednesdays throughout the school summer holidays.
We also run the extremely popular Ghost Trains at Halloween and Santa Specials on weekends in December leading up to Christmas.

We often offer discounts for children and those living in the NP postcode areas. These are publicised on our website when they are available.
The railway is staffed entirely by volunteers and we are always looking for people to join our 'family' of voluntary teams that cover all aspects of running this Heritage Railway, from train drivers, maintenance staff, gardeners, tearoom staff and on board ticket collectors.
