On the 7th April we are at Sirhowy Valley Country Park. This is a circular trail of the forestry along an old railway track. It’s an enjoyable woodland walk through Coed Rhyd-fraith and Coed Wayne-Fawr near Risca. There is an incline at the start for a mile or so then it flattens out then downhill. The path is easy to follow along trails and bridleways although there will be the odd muddy patch so good boots needed. This walk is a level 6/7 on our 1-10 walk scale and is just over 3 miles. The what3words is - lighter.version.dustbin. There is free parking for a dozen cars and on the approach road too. See you then.
